DENISE CALLAWAY
Many of you will remember Denise Callaway as the award-winning reporter for WTMJ-TV Channel 4. She has worked as a communications professional in Milwaukee for almost thirty years. Denise is the business and community partnership coordinator for Milwaukee Public Schools. She is active in the community and volunteers for a wide range of organizations, including service on the boards of the Milwaukee Public Library, The Milwaukee Promise, Pathways to College (Wisconsin Lutheran College), the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, and the Indiana State University Foundation. She is the chair of the Indiana State University African American Alumni Association and a member of 100 Black Women-Milwaukee Chapter. Denise is a frequent guest on Milwaukee Public Television’s "Interchange."


ENRIQUE FIGUEROA, Ph.D.
Enrique E. Figueroa is an associate professor and director of the Roberto Hernandez Center at UW-Milwaukee. He is also the assistant to the Provost for Latino Affairs. He volunteers much of his time to the community through his board work, including UMOS, Big Brothers Big Sisters, National Cranberry Marketing Committee, the Antioch University Board of Governors, and the Migrant Labor Coalition. Governor James Doyle, along with Senate confirmation, appointed Enrique to the Wisconsin’s Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Board. He is a member of the Wisconsin Migrant Labor Council and directs the UW-Milwaukee Latino Nonprofit Leadership Program (LNLP).


4th Street Forum Host RAUL VASQUEZ
Raul Vasquez is an executive management team member at La Causa, Inc., a Milwaukee-based nonprofit focusing on education, child-abuse prevention, and social services for at-risk children. He manages grants, compliance, and special projects at La Causa. Raul has more than a decade’s worth of experience as a bilingual journalist: He was the editor of Aquí Milwaukee Magazine and a writer and photographer in the states of Washington and his home state, California. Raul is also an active volunteer member of the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee. He is an avid soccer fan and plays pick up games whenever he can at Milwaukee parks. He lives in Milwaukee with his wife Tatiana and their three young children.
